SUPPRESSION OF RESIDUAL SIDEBANDS IN TOSS SPECTRA BY PHASE CYCLING

Abstract: An analysis has been made on the residual sidebands in TOSS spectra caused by the errors in π pulse widths and the resonance offset effects, from which it can be concluded that phase cycling can efficiently suppress these residual sidebands to the first order. In a large range of resonance offsets, the efficiency of the phase cycling method has been tested experimentally.
