Abstract: In this paper the NMR and the coupling of pnotons on the nitrogen atom and its neighbouring carbon atom in N-(3-substituted amino-4-chIorocinnamyl) -sec-butylamines, a kind of new compounds, were reported.The configurations of these compounds were assigned based on their 1N-NMR, and confinmed by the X-ray diffraction results of one of these coznpounds.The coupling phenomenon of protons on the nitrogen and its neighbouring carbon in these compounds was confirmed by decoupling technique
