Abstract: This paper reprots the first time on the possibility of an NO2 molecular magnetometer using Zeeman modulation-magnetic rotation spectroscopic (ZM-MRS)technique.The dependence of intensity of NO2 ZM-MRS signal at 16846.20cm-1 on the modulation magnetic field has been measured. Therefore, we provide the design Conception of the magnetometer and discuss its major characteristics in the paper.
