Abstract: A flavonoid disaccharide compound, quercetin-3-(6-p-hydroxy-cinnamoyl-glucosyl)-rhamnosyl, extracted from gingko, is studied by NMR. 1H, 13C chemical shifts are assigned for the disaccharide. It is shown by 13C chemical shifts and 1H NOE correlation that the rhamnosyl takes a 1-2 connection in this molecule.
