Abstract:

A novel compound named Indigoticoside A (3-(4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-α -hydroxy-3-methoxy-benzyl)-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-benzyl) tetrahydrofuran) was se perated  from the antiviral site of Isatis indigotica Fort. by solvent and chromatogr aphy . ¹H and ¹³C signals of the novel compound were assigned by  spectroscopic methods.
