Abstract: Seven spin-labeled polyphosphates were synthesized by the polycondensation of O-(1-oxyl-2, 2, 6, 6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) phosphoric acid dichloride with tetraethylene glycol, triethylene glocol, diethylene glycol, 1, 6-hexanediol, 1,8-octandiol, N-ethyldiethanolamine and N-butyldiethanolamine, respectively. The structures of these stable nitroxyl-labeled polyphosphates were characterized by IR, UV, ESR, VPO and Elemental analysis. The relaxivity (Ri) of polyphosphate 3a,3c and 3d was investigated.
