Abstract: In this paper the relationship
δCHXYZ=δ(CH3)2CHZ+△xy
is proposed for calculating the chemical shift of melhinc proton in the systems containing less-deshielded methine protons which do not obey the Bell, Bowles, and Senese relationship.
