Abstract: The effect of anisodamine on the fluidity of dipalmitoylphosphatidic acid liposomes has been studied by ESR technique. Results indicate that anisodamine interacts strongly with dipalmitoylphosphatidic acid membranes. Anisodamine can increase the fluidity of dipalmitoylphatidic acid liposomes with a decrease in phase transition temperature for more than 10℃ and an exhibition of phase separation. The effect of pH on the dipalmitoylphosphatidic acid liposomes also has been discussed.
