A pair of epimers were isolated from Celastrus flagellaris Rupr,for the first time,their chemical structures were elucidatcd as 1α ,6β ,8α ,13-tetraacetoxy-9α -benzoyloxy-β -dihydroagarofuran(1) and lα ,6β ,8α ,13-tetraacetoxy-9β -benzoyloxy-β -dihydroagarofuran(2) mainly by 1 H-1 H COSY,13 C-1 H COSY,NOESY and HMBC spectra.Compound 1 is a new compound named as Celastrine.

NMR-FINGERPRINTS OF THE CRUDE OIL

Sonme samples of crude oil without preliminary treatment from Xinjiang,Shengli and Huabei oilfield have been determined diredly by13 C and 1 H NMR spectrometry.From the resulting spectra,a series of average structural parameters has been derived.On the basis of those results,parameters fa,Hm,Cz,mA ,mN ,mP have been proposed as the fingerprints of crude oil,which allow various oils to be characterized.The method can provide a quick but rough guide to the cvaluation and dassification of the crude oil.

PHOTOCATALYTIC DECOMPOSITION OF AMIDES ON THE SURFACE OF SILVER-MODIFIED TiO2 PARTICLES

The photoinduced electron transfer and photocatalytic reaction processes of fivc kinds of amides at the surfaee of silver-modified titanium dioxide(Ag-TiO2 ) particles have been studied by ESR method.The used amides include fo formamide(FA),dimethylformamide(DMFA),acetamide(AA),dimethylacetamide(DMAA) and propionamide(PA).Results show that the photocatalysis ability of Ag-TiO2 particles is much greater than that of the unmodified TiO2 .As without TiO2 ,the ESR signal of the adduct[DMPO-CONH2 ] was observcd only in photolysis of formamide system,and no ESR signal was detected for other four kinds of amides.However,the clear ESR signals could be observed for five kinds of amides in the presence of TiO2 particles.Two kinds of carbon centered radicals and hydroxyl radical were detected.ESR signals were obviously enhanced by silver-modified TiO2 particles.At the same condition,the enhancing effect of Ag-TiO2 containing 10% Ag is greater than that of the Ag-TiO2 containing 1% Ag.

Complete 1 H and 13 C NMR resonance assignments were carried out for two compounds:ent-kauran-16β ,17-diol(I) and paraquilgin(II).In addition to conventional 1D NMR methods,2D shift correlated,NMR techniques(1 H-1 H COSY,1 H-13 C COSY.and 1 H-1 H NOESY) ere used for the signal assignment.
