Abstract: ¹H NMR study on the reaction products of sulfur trioxide with four halobenzenes, six halonaphthalenes is reported. The chemical shifts of sulfo derivatives have been assigned. The ¹H NMR data of disulfo and trisulfo derivatives of halobenzenes and halonaphthalenes have been reported for the first time. The application of double resonance, coupling constant of ¹H and ¹⁹F, calculation data of chemical shift were also discussed.
