Abstract:

We have measured the δXe-Xe (arising from Xe-Xe collisions) by 129Xe NMR spectroscopy,  which is much smaller than that of Xe in the gas phase and those of Xe adsorbed  in NaY and CaA zeolites. The Xe-Xe collisions in the supercages behaves like o n e dimensional gas collisions. This result suggusts that δXe-Xe is al so related to the size and shape of internal cavity.
