THE NMR SPECTRA AND STRUCTURE OF 2-CARBOXYETHYL TRIPHENYL PHOSPHONIUM BROMIDE

Abstract: In this paper, 1H, 13C, and 31P-NMR spectra of 5 bromide phosphonium salts of general formula (Ph3 PCHRCHR CO2H)Br were observed. 1H, 13C, and 31P chemical shifts and 31P-13C coupling constants were determined. The relationship between molecular structure and NMR parameters are discussed.
