Abstract: In this paper we have applied a new procedure to suppress the huge water reso-nanee in the NMR study of HBeAg P3 peptide which is predicted to be an ep itope of hepatitis Be antigens. Adding water selective relaxation reagents, we have success-fully carried out the 1D and 2D NMR experiments of HBeAg P3 pep tide in water solution and accomplished the resonanee assignments of the P3 peptide.
