AN OPERATOR DESCRIPTION OF THE EVOLUTION OF DENSITY OPERATORS UNDER WEAK RF FIELD

Abstract: A new formalism for describing the evolution of density operators of spin systems under weak rf. field such as selective irradiation is proposed. Some experiments were treated in detail including spin-tickling and spin interferometry on a system of two coupled spin-1/2 nuclei which was a manifestation of the spinor property of the spin-1/2 particle.
